Saturday morning we had to be up by 4 so we could leave at 4:30 to get to the airport by 5 for our 6 am flight back to Brisbane. This was definitely a morning that we just went through the necessary motions to get ourselves home. We landed in Brisbane at 8 and got a cab home. Our driver actually ended up getting pulled over by a cop so that was my first experience dealing with cops in Australia. It wasn’t intimidating for us since we were just passengers, but it couldn’t have been great for our driver because I’m sure he got penalized for it by his company. He was also pretty moronic because once we started driving again he immediately went back to the speed he had just been driving at. When we finally got back home we settled back in and I went grocery shopping. I then spent most of the day relaxing, which I shouldn’t have done because I had a bunch of work, but I was way too tired to do anything. I did get some work done though, which was good.
